Mode of Selection ?

• Stage 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT) Written Exam – Duration 2 Hours (100 Marks total):
  • General Knowledge (Objective) : 50 Questions, 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%).
  • English Composition (Objective & Subjective) : 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%). Objective (20 Qs / 20 Marks), Subjective Essay (10 Marks), Letter (05 Marks), Precis (05 Marks), Translation Punjabi to English (10 Marks).
  • Qualifying Criteria : 33% in each subject & 40% aggregate in CBT. Subjective paper checked only if candidate secures 33%+ in GK.
  • Negative Marking : $1/4$ mark deducted for every wrong answer in objective questions.
• Stage 2 : Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Spreadsheet Test & English Typing Test.
• Stage 3 : Document Verification – Checking of Original Testimonials / Interaction.
